It’s January 30th. This time last year in New England, we were just about to get our first major snowfall of the year. This year, it’s going to be 60 in the first week of February.

So sure, maybe Florida will be under water in twenty years (no great loss), but it means that today I can drive my Mustang and my dad can take his Z28 down to Newport.

The best thing about having a baby so far is that my wife is always sending me out to get stuff, which gives me plenty of opportunities for a short blast with the car. The worst thing is 3am diaper changes, but at 1 month old the dude really only gets up once a night, so I can’t even argue.

I guess we’ll keep him, I think I'm past the full refund date...hospital would only give me a store credit now.

You’re god damn right I am. That’s what really makes it impressive, it’s warm and dry enough for me to still rock drag radials in Rhode Island in January.

Sebastian is surprisingly attentive for a newborn...dude just stares at you, follows your face. It's kinda neat.

Good to know. The car is stored in a heated garage and it was like 50 out today, so I think I'm good. I don't drive it when it's any colder than this.
